Electric energy is an essential ingredient for the industrial and all around development of any country. It is a coveted form of energy, being generated centrally in bulk and transmitted economically over long distances. Further, it can be adapted easily and efficiently to domestic and industrial application. College offers Diploma in Electrical Engineering. We currently have 79 full-time students and passed out more than 30 every year. The Department has some 6 faculty directing advanced research, and offering courses in major areas of Electrical Engineering such as Signal Processing, Optical Systems, Microelectronics, Electromagnetic and Sensing.This program of study ensures graduates move forward in their careers with the necessary skills and understanding of every aspect of electronic-based technology and computer applications of engineering. It also explores advanced mathematics, computing and practical engineering skills and industrial applications to provide rounded, disciplined candidates to step straight into employment or be ready for higher studies
